Do I need to create an account to use EasyNotePad?
No registration or account is required. Open EasyNotePad and start writing instantly. Your notes are saved automatically in your browser.
How does auto-save work?
EasyNotePad automatically saves your notes every second to your browser's local storage. Your notes are available whenever you return, even after closing your browser tab.
Are my notes private and secure?
Yes. All your notes are stored locally in your browser. No data is ever sent to our servers. Your notes are completely private and only accessible on your device.
Can I use EasyNotePad offline?
Yes. Once EasyNotePad is loaded in your browser, it works completely offline. You can write, edit and save notes without an internet connection.
What export formats are supported?
EasyNotePad supports exporting your notes as TXT (plain text), DOCX (Microsoft Word), and PDF files. Download your work in any format instantly.
Does EasyNotePad work on mobile phones?

Is there a word count feature?
Yes. EasyNotePad shows real-time word count, character count (with and without spaces), and line count as you type.

Can I format text in EasyNotePad?

What is the difference between Save and Save As?
Save stores your current note in your browser automatically. Save As lets you download your note as a file (TXT, DOCX or PDF) to your device.
Does EasyNotePad support dark mode?
Yes. EasyNotePad includes a dark mode toggle for comfortable writing in low-light environments. Your preference is saved automatically.
Will my notes be deleted if I clear my browser data?
Yes. EasyNotePad stores notes in your browser's local storage. Clearing browser data, cookies, or site data will erase your saved notes. Export important notes as PDF or DOCX regularly to avoid accidental data loss.
Can I use EasyNotePad on a Chromebook?
Yes. EasyNotePad is a browser-based tool that works on any device with a web browser, including Chromebooks, school computers, and locked-down devices where installing apps is not allowed.
How do I share my notes with someone else?
Click the Share button to generate a shareable link to your note. Anyone with the link can read it. Shared notes expire automatically. You can also export as PDF and email the file.
Is there a character or note size limit?
No. EasyNotePad has no character limit. You can write as much as you need — from a short grocery list to a full-length document.
Does EasyNotePad work without internet?
Yes. Once EasyNotePad is loaded in your browser, it works completely offline. Your notes are saved locally and remain accessible without an internet connection. The offline service worker caches the app for this purpose.
What keyboard shortcuts does EasyNotePad support?
EasyNotePad supports standard keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+B (bold), Ctrl+I (italic), Ctrl+U (underline), Ctrl+F (find), Ctrl+H (find & replace), Ctrl+Z (undo), Ctrl+Y (redo), Ctrl+S (save). These work on Windows and Linux; use Cmd instead of Ctrl on Mac.
Can I use EasyNotePad on iPhone or iPad?
Yes. EasyNotePad is fully responsive and works on Safari, Chrome, and Firefox on iPhone and iPad. The interface adapts to the touch screen for comfortable mobile typing.
Does EasyNotePad have a word count limit for exports?
No. There is no word count limit for exports. You can export any length of document as PDF, DOCX, or TXT.
Can I change the font size or style?
Yes. EasyNotePad supports basic text formatting including font size adjustments. Use the toolbar to increase or decrease text size for comfortable reading and writing.
How is EasyNotePad different from Notepad on Windows?

Is EasyNotePad good for writing essays?

Can I print my notes from EasyNotePad?
Yes. Export your note as PDF, then print the PDF. Alternatively, use your browser's built-in Print command (Ctrl+P) to print the current page directly.
Does EasyNotePad collect any personal data?

Can I use EasyNotePad for coding or markdown?
EasyNotePad is a general-purpose text editor — you can type any text including code snippets and markdown. It does not render markdown or highlight code syntax. For rendered markdown, you would need a dedicated markdown editor.
What happens to my notes when I switch devices?
Notes saved in your browser local storage are device-specific. They do not sync across devices automatically. To move notes to another device, use the Share Note feature to generate a link, or export as PDF/DOCX and open on the other device.
